Version 28.0.0 of the IDC4 TRUCK software is available: it introduces important new features regarding diagnostic contents for new selectable vehicles, newly developed electronic systems with the related adjustments, new technical information to support repairs and also new software functions in order to guarantee all TEXA mechanics a working tool that is always modern and technological.
The most important new feature, introduced for the first time with the TRUCK 28.0.0 release, and later even for the other software updates (OFF-HIGHWAY, CAR, BIKE. MARINE), is the TEXA APP*, the virtual store from where you may ask your retailer, directly from the main menu of the IDC4 diagnosis software through a simple purchasing procedure, the activation of applications that are linked to the world of repairs.
With this new approach, TEXA gives the mechanic, for the first time, the opportunity to customise his tool (both a PC or an AXONE 4) making it become modular and flexible, ready to follow him throughout his long career.
Within the APPS that are available in version 28.0.0 there is the DASHBOARD**, which displays the engineering parameters of a certain electronic system, giving the user an immediate idea of the functioning layout of the system and, at the same time, the overview of the related parameters located within the layout itself.
Regarding new diagnostic features, on the other hand, IDC4 TRUCK 28.0.0 introduces new important developments for big brands such as MERCEDES, VOLVO, MITSUBISHI, IVECO, FORD, RENAULT, NISSAN.
With regard to MERCEDES, in particular, from version 28.0.0 the complete development of the model MPIV is available with 35 different systems, such as: Diesel Injection, Instrumentation, Service System, Tachograph, Transmission, Steering Lock, Ignition, Chassis Management, Comfort, Cabin Control Airbag, Air conditioning.
VOLVO: new parameter reading optimisation functions, component activation Tests and Adjustment functions for all the systems potentially equipped on the vehicle. In particular, the Freeze Frame error reading in the Injection and EBS control units was developed.
MAN: the development of the error deletion function directly from the voice “Installed systems’ search”.
MITSUBISHI: the development of the complete Euro 5 injection system along with the regeneration adjustments of the particulate filter and the service reset for the vehicle Canter.
IVECO: the development of the diagnosis of all the new systems of the new model Daily ‘12, among which we would like to highlight: ABS, EDC 17 INJECTION (injector classification, particulate filter regeneration), AIRBAG, BODY, A/C, SUSPENSIONS (level calibration, lowering/lifting test), INSTRUMENTATION (in particular: service reset).
FORD: TRANSIT ’12 : even for this new 2012 vehicle there have been important developments among which we want to mention the diagnosis of the following systems: SIEMENS SID208 EURO 5 DIESEL INJECTION, ABS, BODY COMPUTER.
FIAT: the diagnosis of the injection of the vehicle DOBLO’ Cargo ’09 CNG was included.
RENAULT: he diagnosis of the injection (with related adjustments) of the vehicle RENAULT TRAFIC II Euro 5 was included.
NISSAN: the diagnoses of Injection EURO 5 DELPHI, instrumentation, Electronic power steering, cabin comfort and body computer of the vehicle NISSAN NV200 were introduced.

**DASHBOARD is “standard” for who uses AXONE 4. For the customers that use the other diagnostic solutions (with the exception of the platforms that have IDC4 TRUCK POCKET software installed for which this application is not available) this function may be purchased through a dedicated “APP” in the “TEXA APP” on-line store.
